Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2026

Growth Works ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.growthworks.agency, how we use it, and your rights under UK data protection law.

We are a data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at callum@growthworks.agency.

1. What data we collect

Contact form submissions

When you complete a contact or enquiry form on our website, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (if provided)
  • The content of your message

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. We will not add you to any mailing list or share your details with third parties without your explicit consent.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • How you arrived at our site (e.g. search engine, direct link, referral)
  • General location (country or city level — not precise)
  • Device type and browser

This data does not identify you personally. It is processed by Google LLC under a data processing agreement with us. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Meta Pixel (advertising tracking)

Our website uses the Meta Pixel — a piece of code provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook/Instagram). This allows us to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of our Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns
  • Show our ads to people who have previously visited our website (retargeting)
  • Build audiences of people with similar interests to our website visitors

The Meta Pixel may collect your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and — if you are logged into Facebook — may associate this data with your Facebook profile. This data is processed by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd in accordance with Meta's Privacy Policy. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

2. Legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contractual necessity — processing your contact form submission in order to respond to your enquiry
  • Legitimate interests — using analytics and advertising tools to understand our website's performance and run our business effectively, balanced against your right to privacy
  • Consent — where required by law (for example, placing non-essential cookies), we will ask for your consent before doing so

3. Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device. These include:

  • Essential cookies — required for the website to function correctly
  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data
  • Advertising cookies — set by the Meta Pixel to support ad measurement and retargeting

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect how parts of the website function.

4. How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries — we retain your details for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and for up to 2 years afterwards in case of any follow-up communication
  • Analytics data — Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default
  • Meta Pixel data — managed by Meta in accordance with their data retention policies

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following trusted third parties where necessary to operate our business:

  • Google LLC — for website analytics (Google Analytics)
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — for advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)
  • Webflow Inc. — our website is hosted on Webflow's platform, which processes data on our behalf

All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

6. International data transfers

Some of our third-party service providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent adequacy decisions.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request that we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Portability — request your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@growthworks.agency. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.

8. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing any personal data with them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
